Biography

Don joined Hertz Farm Management in December 2022 as a farm manager in Cedar Falls, IA. In this role, Don manages, sells, and acquires properties for landowner clients across central and northeast Iowa.

Don was one of six children growing up on his family’s dairy and hog farm in Eastern Iowa. This is where Don develped a passion for livestock and agriculture. Prior to joining Hertz, he was in the banking industry specializing in mortgage finance.

Don and his wife, Kalyn, have two children, who they enjoy attending sporting events with - and whenever possible, he enjoys fishing and bow-hunting.
