Biography

Colton joined Hertz Farm Management in August 2023 as a farm manager and licensed real estate salesperson in the Cedar Falls, IA office. In this role, Colton manages, sells, and acquires properties for landowner clients across Northeast Iowa.

 

Colton graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Middle Level Education in May 2020. During his time at Northern Iowa, Colton competed with the football team while being involved in various bible studies throughout campus.

 

Through his involvement in his family’s diversified cow-calf, custom feeding, and row crop operation near Dyersville, IA, Colton developed a deep-rooted passion for agriculture and the sentiment of passing on a family legacy. Colton is currently pursuing his Accredited Farm Manager designation as a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, the top professional accreditation in the industry.

 

Colton currently resides in Cedar Falls, IA with his wife, Whitney and two sons, Roman and Leon.
