Cover Crops
Cover crops are generally considered any crop planted on a field between cash grain crops or during the non-growing season to provide “cover” to the soil. In the Midwest, the non-growing season typically starts after corn or soybean harvest, sometime between September and mid-November.

If you ask Scott Brown how he got involved in owning farmland, he’ll tell you that it all started with a blind date. While studying to become a chemical engineer at Iowa State University, Brown’s roommate set him up on a date with his now wife Nancy Brown.
